Environmental policy

Customers ATM is committed to being an environmentally responsible company by promoting strategies and programs aimed at minimising our environmental impact.

The Customers ATM Environmental Committee has led the way by setting up a range of initiatives, including:

• Recycling cardboard, plastics, warehouse fluorescent light tubes, paper, electronics, batteries and printing toner/cartridges
• Introducing LED lighting for ATM high-toppers rather than the use of fluorescents
• Emailing invoices and other correspondence to customers where possible to reduce print and postage use
• 100 per cent offset of company electricity use
• Re-using packaging material
• Using environmentally friendly bubble wrap when delivering ATMs
• Minimising unnecessary use of computers, lights, air-conditioners and heaters

In addition to this, the committee is working towards an overall Environmental Sustainability Strategy. As part of this, a carbon audit will be performed on the business and the strategy will include targets and deadlines to reduce waste, energy use and water use.
